Want to get into running but don’t know where to start? Look no further than Couch to 5k; a brilliant guided training plan for complete beginners or those looking to get back into running. It involves running three times a week, with at least one rest day in between running days, and will ease you in by alternating walking and running, with the end goal to have you running 5k in just 12 weeks.
Our new 12-week Couch to 5k programme is starting in Exeter this Autumn. We will be meeting every Tuesday evening (6pm – 7pm) from the 5th October, meeting at Exwick Playing Fields. All abilities are welcome and no experience is required. We will provide a supportive group environment, warm up exercises and guidance along the way to ensure you can follow the programme at a pace you are comfortable with.
